Her work has been rooted in a deep commitment to family empowerment, educational access, and ensuring that every child has the support and opportunities needed to thrive.
Angela’s journey in advocacy includes four years of service as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/Guardian ad Litem, where she amplified the voices of children involved in the child welfare and legal systems and advocated for their safety and well-being. She also served for six years as a Bilingual Parent Liaison, building meaningful connections between schools and multilingual families, breaking down language and cultural barriers, and creating more inclusive and welcoming educational environments.
Currently, Angela serves as the Community Liaison & Advocacy Director and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for DanObe Foundation, where she leads community outreach initiatives, develops strategic partnerships, and connects families with critical resources. She also supports students, families, and educators across Fulton County SAFE Centers by strengthening collaboration between schools and the broader community.
Angela’s leadership is guided by empathy, service, and the belief that strong partnerships between families, schools, and communities create lasting change. As a proud Latina leader, she is passionate about uplifting others, expanding opportunities, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
